I very rarely write reviews but these guys and the quality of their workmanship absolutely deserves a mention, from initial consultation right up to the finished product I cannot fault them and their service it really was a pleasure dealing and doing business with you Kev and Neil and the finished install is absolutely spot on, I was always kept informed throughout the project and nothing was too much trouble for them even on handover they took time to explain the system so me and my family knew exactly how the various accessories worked,these guys really do offer a bespoke service and product and you really wont find better or more professional people to deal with. A Tricky Job

"We recently had electric gates fitted by Fortress. A tricky job for Kev and Neil due to the gradient of the driveway across which they were fitted. What a fantastic job they have done. Pure genius - they look amazing! It's refreshing to deal with a company that is so focused on getting everything exactly as the customers wants. Guide Dog Enclosures

Fantastic customer service metal gates to the highest standard

"I recently had my drive installed with electric metal gates from Fortress, I was so happy with the standard of work and the quality of the customer service it was to the highest standard right from the quote level all the way through to the final day. I had updates all the way through from Kevin via telephone calls and emails of pictures of how my new gates were coming along which I was really pleased with. Nothing was left unplanned or not thought out and ran by me to see if it was exactly how I wanted it. Kevin and Neil came to do the install and the quality of their work was exceptional along with making you feel at ease all the way through the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting gates fitted as the service and work is pure quality."

Excellent Service and Quality

"Just had some electric gates fitted to the front of our property. We were on a bit of a tight time frame, but Kevin assured me that they would pull it in for us. True to his word everything was on time and communication was excellent throughout. The gates are extremely heavy, the quality build is superb and better than any I have seen. Kevin and Neil are very conscientious and ran us through everything so we knew how to operate them. Utterly exceeded all expectations

"This company has surely got to be the best in the business. Their work has to be seen to be believed. I'm very fussy. I want very high quality engineering, both in terms of design, gate build quality, motors and intercom technology complemented by outstanding workmanship. I also want serious value for money and great, friendly service. When I read the reviews about Fortress Gates I thought "too good to be true"! It's not!! They won't allow you to be disappointed! Kevin and Neil are hugely impressive craftsmen of the old school. Nothing is too much trouble and their attention to detail and commitment to quality is exemplary. They are 100% reliable and have created a tremendously well engineered and beautifully fitted set of very large and truly magnificent gates with silent underground Roger motors, great safety features and excellent Videx GPS technology that works flawlessly every time. VERY PLEASED

"From the start, we got a vibe that this company (Kevin and Neil) knew their stuff and would do a proper job. They had a positive can-do attitude, and LISTENED to our requirements. Precise measurements were taken using laser equipment, and even an exploratory dig was carried out to ensure that on the day of installation the posts wouldn’t interfere with drains. All this was carefully planned and expertly carried out. Nothing was done in a slap-dash manner. Their CAD design system allowed us to make adjustments to the design, and get a better visualisation of how things would look. Installation went smoothly, and we ended up with TOP-QUALITY gates that looked STUNNING. It was definitely worthwhile paying that bit extra for good craftsmanship and attention to detail.

PS. We rarely write reviews, but this company left a lasting impression (for the right reasons!). So glad we chose them."

Superb

"After waiting for another Firm for some Gates to be made and fitted for 8 weeks and being told to phone and check the progress and then finding out the Boss, who asked me to call, was on Holiday and it would take another 3-5 weeks I contacted Fortress, I couldn't believe the service we got, here to measure up not long after my call and nothing was too much trouble, the Gates are now up and look Fabulous, the Lads were really friendly and knew exactly what we wanted, they made sure we were happy with the every little thing before they left, I can't possibly express how good they were, if you are looking for any Ironwork, Gates etc at all, this is the Firm you should go to! I would use them again without any doubt at all, right price, great job and absolutely Magnificent! There aren't many who would be this good nowadays."

They took the time with me before manufacture to get the design right and to what I wanted, customer service came first with them and that showed through the whole job. The Company To Use For Railings & Gates

"Fortress have manufactured & installed bifold gates plus railings to the front of my property plus a side gate to secure access to the back garden.. On the first visit I met Kevin and the metal fabricator who made a cracking job and seemed to know exactly what I wanted. Prior to fabricating i was sent a cad drawing which confirmed the height of the gates and the design, once approved they worked at record speed to get them made, powder coated, and looking amazing outside my house. Fortress are a classy outfit , use them and I,m sure your review will read just like mine 10/10 from me."

Driveway and Side Gates Top Class

"We had some new metal driveway gates & some new double side gates made of metal and cedar wood from Fortress in May 2013. Kev was really good at explaining what they could offer, worked on our quote really quickly and sent us CAD drawings so we could see how they would look. He kept us updated throughout with the progress, fitting date etc. When fitting the guys were very professional, worked really tidy e.g. replacing the block paving perfectly. Will definitely recommend Fortress for any gates, railings etc you need. Top Class."

"Their statement "we aren't happy unless we exceed our customers expectation" couldn't be more true. With a mischievous 2 year old our need for driveway gates on a busy main road was rapidly becoming an issue. On meeting with the team they were keen to listen to our needs, quick to respond with a quote and once we accepted kept in touch throughout the process via email on small design alterations and even sent a picture of the midway stage to provide a visual of our new gates. "We asked Kevin and 2 other local companies for a price on a supply only basis of a pair of drive gates. Fortress Gates were the marginally cheaper of the 3, but it was Kevin's professional approach, promise of quick turn round and willingness to discuss design details & to work with us, that confirmed them as our preferred choice. We gave Kevin sketches of our requirements and images of the style we were after. He was then able to give us CAD images to show exactly what we were going to be getting. We have just taken delivery of the gates and couldn't be more pleased. We will add a picture to this posting when we have installed the gates.

I literally couldn't be happier with Kevin and his team

I literally couldn't be happier with Kevin and his team. Not only have Fortress completely delivered on manufacture and install of the most amazing gates (completely bespoke), they have been a pleasure to deal with and so so pleasant to have around during the works. We wanted a pretty complex entry system which the guys have managed to obtain for us, and everything works seamlessly as well as looking fantastic.
