Ryan and Zoe, recent customers of ours, wanted more privacy than the gates they had before, installed by a different firm. Originally they had steel gates that everyone could see through. They contacted us and decided they would go for our premiuim quality steel framed driveway gates with cedar wood cladding and Locinox security. This satisfied the two humans using this gate, but you would be barking mad to think that was it. Oliver, their British Bulldog, was not happy at all with this gate. Every normal day he would sit at the gate and look down the drive, but with wood being installed in the new gate he could no longer do this. To get around this problem we measured 450mm to his eyes and the width of Olivers eyes too. With these dimensions we could add two windows perfect for Oliver to see through at either end of the gate. Later these would be called “dog windows.” Oliver, as you can see, is very happy with his windows and is constantly having his day.
Recently, Mr. Dye came to us with a fantastic job in Southwell for an incredible property. He joined us at the office for a meeting to look through his own drawings of steel gates he wanted. He also brought along the architects’ drawings for us to view.
Fortress rose to the challenge and exceeded Peter Gerrard’s expectations.
